Getting Ready for Spring!

Twice a year, MOMS (mothers of multiples) has this great tag sale where they have tons of clothing, toys and baby gear. They always have a lot of cute matching outfits and jackets. We loaded up on summer clothing and a few toys. Now all we need is some warm weather!! Here the girls are trying on a few of their new spring dresses.......

Looking at Photographs

The girls LOVE looking at photographs now. They have their own photo album with pictures of friends and family. They look at all the pictures and name each person---dada, mommy, anna, betsey, mike, grandma, grandpa and baby(coby). They have also noticed the pictures in frames around the house. Here they are looking at a picture of mommy and aunt anna......

6 Month Check UP

Yesterday Coby had his 6 month old check up. Jake and I both like to go to the well child visits, which mean Chloe and Taylor come along as well. They've all been a little sick lately so we got the girls ears checked out and it turns out they both had bad ear infections. Yikes. So out of our 6 baby ears 5 of them weren't doing so well. Coby, the lucky guy, has the one good ear. He had a good report from the doctor, he's developing right on target and ahead of schedule in some areas. And the good news is he's a happy, healthy little guy! Well maybe not so little--he is HUGE. He's 30 inches tall and weights about 19 1/2 pounds. That's 120th percentile for height and 75th percentile for weight. He fits nicely in 18 month clothing at 6 months. He loves to eat, the doctor said we can start cheerios and puffs. After our visit we headed off the the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions for all 3 of them. Chloe was happy all day despite her ear infections but Taylor was a total mess. Poor little thing does not do well if she's sick or tired. Jake took the day off to help with the babies, which is why I have the coolest husband ever!

Making Boys Cry

Chloe has been "trading up" for quite sometime now. She doesn't take things away from other kids. If someone has something Chloe wants, she gives them something and then she takes what she wants. It started with bottles when she was about 10 months old. She would drink her bottle quickly and then hand it to Taylor. Taylor would take Chloe's empty bottle and Chloe would take Taylor's almost full bottle. (This may have something to do with why she is twice the size of Taylor). Chloe still pulls this move with bottles, but also does it with toys, food, clothing and just about anything. Today at the library she found a ticket stub and traded it to a 3 year old boy for his Yankee hat. Smart thinkin' Chloe! The little boy realized (just as Chloe was running away with his hat on her head, and a huge smile on her face) that he got the short end of the stick. The boy burst into tears and ran to his mommy saying "that baby took my hat, that baby took my hat"!
