Moving, moving, moving!

So today was the big day! We signed all the offical papers and are no longer homeless! We're going to take a few weeks to move in so we can baby proof the place and get everything set up before we move the kids in. Once we move the kids in we won't get anything done, so I want everything ready for business before they arrive. I've already done my research and we have a cool group of kids, 2 year old twin boys on our street and adorable little vietnamese babies, not too far away. We've also got awesome parks, libraries and classes for the kids all with-in walking distance. I think we are going to LOVE Porltand. We had a little reunion with our adoption agency last Sat and we got to meet about 5 or 6 Vietnamese babies. Chloe and Taylor have the cutest little boy to play and a few very cute girls! I haven't had a chance to download the pictures from the picnic but they'll be coming soon!

The kids table

Coby cracks me up. Each day he's becoming more of a little boy and less of a baby. He's not even one but he decided that he's too big for his high chair. He wants to sit at the big kids table with the girls with a plate and a big kid cup. When ever I make dinner for the girls he makes his way over to the table and sits down all by himself. If I try and put him in the high chair he throws a HUGE fit! He's really starting to notice everything around him and does not want to be left out! Here's our little man enjoying dinner with the girls.

Coby is so excited that....

we get to move into our new house next week! Can you tell he can't wait?

The blueberry farm

They have a huge organic blueberry farm less than a mile from my parents house. So once the girls have eaten their way through Grandpa and Grandmas garden we head on up to the blueberry farm. They girls were having a great time picking blueberries until they noticed the goats, then they fed everything they picked to them! Here are the cuties enjoying country life.

My silly aunt Anna!

They girls LOVE Aunt Anna to pieces! They get soooooooooooooooo excited when I say she's coming to visit and they run up and tackle her the minute she walks in the door. As soon as Aunt Anna arrives they want nothing to do with mommy!

Girls just wanna have fun!

Swim lessons

Today our van finally arrived! Yeah! The kids have all been enjoying their summer. It's been really hot this last week so we've been trying to stay cool. The girls have had swim lessons every day. It's a mommy and me class offered at the town pool. I took Chloe the first week, Taylor the second week and then both of them on the last day. They loved it! One thing that is great about living in Oregon is that now I can spend more time with the kids individually and actually attend a few mommy and me classes with just one baby. I am signing up Coby for a swim class once we move to Portland and my mom will come up and watch the girls on the days he has class. The city of Portland offers a bunch of great classes for the babies at fraction of the cost they were in CT. We're doing 2 mommy and me and me and me classes. Gymnastics and music will start mid Sept. So hopefully we'll be in our house by then . We should have our official closing date in about a week. Now that we have our car here we'll be able to get out more. We're planning trips next week to the Zoo with our cousins and we've got a bunch of fun planned for the weekend! We'll be sure to post pictures!

All Business

Taylor had a very important business call this afternoon. She was on the (elmo) phone for at least 10 minutes, which is a very long time in baby land. Check out her serious facial expressions.

The boy with 3 teeth

Coby insisted I put this picture of him up on the blog for Grandpa and Grandma and everyone else to see that he does indeed have 3 teeth. (Click on it to see his teeth up close).

Homer Davenport Day Parade

This past weekend was Homer Davenport days here in Silverton. They had an awesome parade, couch races (where people race their sofas down mainstreet), yummy food and craft booths. I would compare it to Jebediah Springfield Days on the Simpsons. The girls LOVED the prade they were clapping and oooing and ahhing the whole time. Here are few pictures.

Cute babies, goofy outfits

Yes, Chloe has a black eye from an encounter with the twisty slide

Hugs from Great-Grandmas are the best!

This is Taylor's "don't mess with me" look

We finally broke down and bought the awesome triple stroller. A must have for 3 babies. It's totally awesome and we never leave home without it!

I like this picture because Coby looks like a big kid, just standing up!

Look how excited she is!!!! I love it!!!
