Adventures in potty training

I can't wait to get these 2 out of diapers. Once they are potty trained I am going to go back to the cloth diapers for Coby. We did cloth diapers with the twins before the baby was born, but it was just too hard to do it with the 3 of them. We bought some training pants and these cute little potties from Ikea. Next step, lets learn how to use them! My goal is to have them both out of diapers by the time they turn 2. Wish me luck!

I hava go

One night I read Taylor a potty training book about baby grover called "I have to go." The next afternoon she was outside and she kept saying over and over "I hava go, I hava go." She sat down on her potty and went pee-pee! She now tells us when she has to go and she runs to the potty and goes all by herself. We are on day 2 of potty training with Taylor and she's doing a great job!

House update

They accepted our offer to buy the house we love! We're so excited!!! We took Taylor with us this time to check out the house again while it was being inspected. As you can tell from the pictures she loved it! We're pushing for a fast close (30 days). If everything goes as planned we should be in by the end of August. The best news is that daddy has agreed to let us put in a slide going from the kitchen down into the basement playroom. Doesn't that sound like fun?

Never Ever

Never ever tell your husband to hose off the baby, no matter how sticky she may be.

Hey Jealousy

The twins woke up one day recently and noticed that they had a baby brother. They've never been jealous of each other, and they were pretty good with the baby at first because they were so young when he was born. But oh man, lately when mommy holds the baby it's bad bad news! We always have a fun time playing when he takes his morning nap but the second they see him they stop what they are doing and make a bee line for mommy's lap. These photos capture what happens when mommy holds the baby.

House shopping

We spent a few days shopping for houses in Portland. Each time we went we tried to bring one of the girls so that they could have some individual time with us. (Coby is still napping 2x a day so he didn't get to be a part of the house shopping). Taylor went with us Tue and Friday was Chloe's special day. Chloe loved being the only kid with daddy, mommy and grandpa. Below are a few pictures of Chloe checking out one of our favorite houses. She loved this one so much we put an offer on it. It's a huge beautiful house with pleanty of room for us(even if our family grows a bit). It's in an awesome location. Right down town with great resturants and cool shops only a few blocks away. Hopefully it all works out and this will be our new home!

Our stuff has arrived!

On Friday we were pleased to see a big orange truck in grandma and grandpa's driveway. The girls had a great time running around and helping the moves check things in. Coby did one of his super marathon 3 hour morning naps and missed most of the moving. He was happy to have a snack in his favorite red high chair when he woke up.
