One of my favorite things

I know that one day she will outgrow this incredibly cute habit. Taylor has always licked things when she is tired or sad or hurt. We can tell she is ready for a nap or bed when she starts licking things, anything. When she was a small baby she would lick whatever was closest to her. Onetime I went to make her a bottle and when I came back she was licking Cooper(the dog). It's so adorable when she climbs up on you, cuddles up and starts to lick your shirt. She does this cute thing where she poofs out her lips and makes this little licking noise. Aunt Betsey managed to capture this special moment. Here is our little licker.

Kiss it mommy

The girls have both started needing mommy and daddy to kiss their boo-boos when they get hurt. For some reason a kiss from mommy can make if feel better instantly. Next step-the magical band-aids.

Our first day home

We had a great first day back in CT. The babies are still on west coast time so they slept in till about 9. We went shopping for groceries, welcomed cooper back home, took long naps, played at the aquarium, and had dinner with grandpa and grandma. Here are a few pictures from our day.

So happy to see Cooper again!

Chatting with Grandma

Visiting with great grandma

Grandma Loretta is always so much fun to play with. I have so many great memories of her as a child, all the silly games we played. The girls had a great time visiting with her out in Oregon. It is really cool to see my little girls playing and laughing with her just like I did as a child.

Finally Home!

Our flight was delayed almost 2 hours. The babies didn't seem to mind......

It took us almost 12 hours to get from door to door. It was a long trip home, but they were all extremely well behaved. We had a total of about 15 minutes of crying from all 3 of them combined. Coby peed all over mommy and Taylor threw up on Daddy, but for some reason no one really cried. We've got some sleep to catch up on and hopefully we'll be back on schedule within a few days. We had a great vacation out in Oregon. Thanks grandma and grandpa for taking such good care of us! We miss you already!

Handmade dresses

Thanks grandma for the dresses you made us! We love them!
