Sleep update

We've had 2 good nights in a row. One night she didn't cry going to bed and the other night she cried for only 20 minutes. Tonight back up to 40 minutes. But both nights she slept through till after 7. And she's sort of napping again. She goes in her room each day from 1-3 while the other kids naps. She either looks at books or sleeps. She's been napping every other day. I'll take it!

Did you find something that worked or did she just phase out of the no-sleep thing? Don't mean to question success, lol. VERY happy for the whole family, sleep is VERY important. Love the b/w photos of your crew, beautiful!

there's a book called "the no cry sleep solution" and the author just came out with the "no cry nap solution". . . haven't read either, but i should :) anyway, maybe a good book, the nap one that is, of course a couple of weeks ago i thought alani was giving up her nap and it's been a couple of weeks and she's back to a very strict 2pm, which she hasn't really been strict about for probably over a month. . . so i think phases and stages, just when you think you can count on their little schedules they throw you a curve ball to remind you it's not the case. . .glad you're all getting a bit more sleep!

Just caught up on your blog and am relieved Taylor's phase is finally passing. Aaron goes through unpredictable phases too and there never seems to be any rhyme or reason why they happen and how they get resolved. Soooo glad you're getting your rest again!

That's a good update. I hope she is still sleeping through the night!

Hey Nat,

Just caught up on the blog. So glad that Taylor is doing better. Priya went through a similar thing this past June for about 2 to 3 weeks and then it was over. We never really figured out exactly what it was, I really like some of the comments people had for you, I learned a lot from them. I love the new pics. I'll update our blog soon, we've been up to so much, our friends Sharon and Norm are visiting and we've been doing lots of fun stuff but no time to deal with the blog, hope to post in the next few days so look out for some new pics.
