They are beyond naughty

We're in for a tough year. Coby is now in the middle of everything his sisters get into. The three of them can do so much damage to the house in such a short period of time. They have also learned that when I'm feeding the baby or trying to get him to sleep in his room they can pretty much get away with anything. That combined with 2 weeks off school for Taylor and Chloe equals total disaster! We are having Christmas Eve at our house so I've been trying to get the house clean. I have about 45 minutes every 3 hours that I don't have to be either holding or feeding or rocking Tanner to sleep. So I'd work really hard getting things clean and then the kids worked really hard messing things up. Here's an example of one of the many many naughty things they did today. I had spent about 45 minutes organizing and cleaning Coby's room today. Putting all the toys in the right bins, etc. And while I was downstairs feeding Tanner and Jake was cooking dinner they decided to go on a boat ride. Coby's crib was the boat and of course they couldn't leave home without their stuff!

just give up now. . . . they'll only be little for a little while and everyone who comes to your NOT clean house will just have to understand. . . easier to say than to do. . . I'm only outnumbered 2 to 1, but I've already thrown in the towel. . . cleaning house while kids are still young is like trying to shovel in a snow storm!!! enjoy!

Oh dear! If it were me and I had just cleaned all that up, I would be in a puddle of tears on the floor. Poor you!

Have you considered getting a mother's helper for a bit? You've got your hand full!

You poor thing! I can't even begin to imagine! I know Molly has gotten away with more since Rayna has been more than ever before. Today while I was feeding Rayna, she decided to get into my make-up. What a mess! I can't imagine having two three year olds in addition to my two! I know I say this often, but you're my hero! :-)

Merry Christmas! I SO feel your pain, Natalie. The boys would do the same - totally wreak havoc while I was nursing the girls. They know you can't move for at least a half hour so they take full advantage. It gets better, I swear! Looks like you guys are doing pretty well though. It's a challenging time but you will get through it! The girls will be one next week and I find it hard to believe. Time flies (whether you're having fun or not!) Fortunately, it's mostly fun. Blessings for the New Year!
