A great week!

First off thank you to everyone who left comments about backing up pictures! It was really helpful! This week was our first full week in our new home. It was awesome, well mostly awesome. We had one rough night, but they all slept late the next day to make up for it. Life is getting so much easier! I'm trying to convince Jake that we can handle another baby maybe even 2. :) He's not buying it, but at least I put the idea in his head. :) We'll give him a few months, he always comes around. :) Coby is really walking now. It's so stinkin' funny the way he waddles. The girls make fun of him all the time. It's hilarious. He even tried to run today--funniest thing ever. The girls have been having these major giggle fits lately. I kind of wish I could freeze time because I love their current ages. I used to have nightmares that they'd never grow up, but now I wish they would stay this way forever. It's just so.much.fun. I've been trying to get out of the house every morning with the kids. Either OMSI, the Zoo, a play date, the park or story time at the library. I try and tire them out each morning so they all take long naps. And this week it worked pretty well. They all slept at least 2 hours after lunch which gives me a nice break. My sister and I are going to start training for a marathon. I'm going to try and run everyday while the kids nap, and then do my long runs on the weekends. I hoping to find a race sometime in end of Jan or early Feb. That will give me almost 4 months to train. I haven't exercised since we picked the girls up, so this should be interesting! Let's see what else. We have a busy day tomorrow with Jadon's (our cousin) bday party and then we have a playdate with a group of Vietnamese toddlers at the park. After that we have a party/parade in our neighborhood with another group of Vietnamese kids. Let's just hope the girls can handle all the fun! I have a ton of cute pictures from our week that I'll post soon! For now here's Taylor trying to look really busy so she doesn't have to take a nap. (Every day I put Coby to bed, then Chloe and then Taylor. She always starts doing a "big project" right before nap time. As if I'll be like "oh you look busy, I'll let you stay up and finish)."

There's a marathon in early spring in Eugene. Also-I'm pretty sure there's one in early spring near Salem-hosted by my old high school. Google the Cascade marathon-or it might be a half. Not sure. Not a lot of marathons scheduled in winter around here . . .

Too funny that Taylor likes to start a project in hopes that she'll get a nap time pass! I'm so glad you are feeling like you can enjoy your kids and not always be stressed trying to manage 3 little ones. They are at such a fun age right now; so it's good to hear that your able to enjoy that with them!

I can't believe you are already thinking about #4. You are so BRAVE. (And you must have ten times more energy & patience than I do. LOL!)

Taylor is too funny with her little pre-nap projects. I think that's an excellent strategy for a two year old. (Wait, are they two yet?)

Glad you had a great week in your new house.
