Ice Skating

So maybe taking 3 kids ages 2 and under to the ice rink wasn't the smartest idea. BUT we had an extra adult today(uncle Mike) so we thought we'd try it out. Jake's been wanting to get the girls on skates for awhile now and their feet are finally big enough. It was so much fun! Chloe skated for a full hour with out a break and Taylor for about 45 minutes-she wanted to keep going but Uncle Mike needed a break. Coby can barely walk with shoes on but he did pretty good for a 15 month old. :) We couldn't believe how much fun the girls had. Chloe would kick and scream every time Jake tried to take her off the ice, even if it was just to loosen up his skates. And of course my camera battery died 5 minutes after we got there, but I did get a few shots in. Here are our 3 little skaters.

All ready to go skating!

I love that you took the kids ice skating! I would have been afraid I would fall and crush my kids....lol...guess ice skating won't be in my kids future anytime soon..haha

Love the picture of Chloe with her tongue sticking out and cow mittens on:)

I am jealous you had 48 free hours at new years-what a great way to start out the new year!!

No way, can't believe you tried that and succeeded! I am impressed & inspired! Never would have thought to give that a try. Love it. Happy New Year!

well, that's just a little too cute. i keep considering taking alani to the rink, maybe someday soon. it's amazing what 2 year old are capable of. my friend's family owned a roller rink when she was little and her 2 year old already does well on skates. . . way to brave the kice. . . .

That looks like fun! I'd love to take Josie-but I can't ice skate due to a roller skating injury that tore ligaments in my ankle years ago. Did you skate too?

Wow, you guys are so brave to get yourselves out on the ice not to mention 3 kids. I am terrified to walk on the driveway after it snows, so I don't see ice skating in Lydia's future. Love the pics of the kids.

I was beginning to think Mike didn't ever wear pants; so I'm glad to know he does! Looked like a lot of fun!
