Chloe and Taylor had their first trip to the dentist. It went pretty well. They thought the dental hygienist was really nice. She let them check out all the tools and ride up and down in the chair. Then the dentist came in. To be honest he frightened me so I'm not surprised they freaked out a little. He looked like a dentist from a horror film. 6'4", 100lbs, giant ears and he had a huge band aid patch over his eyebrow that just added to the all around creepiness. And he had the scariest voice ever. So they both freaked when he tried to look in their mouths. Can you blame them? The good news is everything looks good and we don't have to go back until next summer. Phew!

Glad the girls' teeth looked good and they don't have to return until next year. I love their cute little shirts! :-)
Ours is coming up next week-had to postpone the last appt because i was, well, in the hospital!
Hope Josie cooperates as well as they did. I chose a Gentle Dental since they should be good with kids . . .
Cute teeth, T!
I was just thinking about making a first dental appointment. I'm glad it went well, but that's too bad about the creepy dentist!
Hmm a scary looking dentist is never a good way to start the dental experiences; hopefully they will forget about it by the time they have to go back! But at least only the actual dentist was scary; he's the guy you spend the least amount of time with anyway!
our dentist is really cute and young and not menacing or frightening at all. . .but alani still freaked when he walked in the room. . . i think she's scared of men a little. . anyway, our dentist must be strict. . . 1 year 2 year and every six months after that, i can't believe the girls are almost three and don't even have to go back for another year. . . like haley, i hope they forget the creepy guy by their next visit though, glad everything looked good!
Darn, where is the picture of the scary dentist?
Oh awesome! So funny about the creepy dentist. We're about to take Avah too, I wonder how it's going to go, yikes.
