Gymnastics

Last week the girls started gymnastics class. It took me awhile to find a program I liked. There's a lot of tumbling type classes out there for 2 year olds, but I wanted a class at a "real" gymnastics gym. It's also hard to find classes at a gym for 2 year olds. Most classes start at age 3. But we finally found one. The girls LOVE it! And they teach classes through age 14, so if they end up liking it they can continue on at the same gym. Here are a few pictures from our class. The instructors are awesome. And because I have 2 kids, one of them is always getting one on one help from one of the teachers.

Taylor doesn't quite have the vault down yet. (but she's working on it).

THat is cute. I'm going to put Jack in gymnastics also (I want something that goes year round since Amelia's dance class goes all year). I am waiting until 3 though since I doubt he would be independant enough to do anything on his own yet.

very fun. we do music classes, but i'm wondering if we should try for something more physical now that winter is definitely upon us. someone recommended gymnastic, REAL gymnastic classes recently, but said she thought they started at 2.5, so that's next month. . . . we'll see!!!!
