Don't worry momma

Just wanted to document this:
Today was rough day (we've had alot of those lately). We're all really sick. I can handle sick kids but when I get sick AND the kids are sick it's really hard.
Today Coby was crying, and I was holding him on the couch trying to settle him down. I didn't feel good and I guess Taylor noticed I was having a rough time. She climbed up on the chair next to me, put her arms around my neck, game me a kiss and said "Don't worry momma, everything's going to be okay." Then she patted my head and looked me in the eyes and said "okay momma?" She can be such a stinker, but she's so empathetic and so darn sweet sometimes.

And here's a few photos she insisted I take of her the other day. She's into smiling now so she can "see" how cute she looks.

*A few other cute things she's been saying are
"I don't want to eat, I don't want to play, I just want to go to Grandma's house"
And when I reply "We can't go there today, it's too far away (it's an hour drive).
She says "Mom, it's just down the street!"

Out of my 4 girls, the one thats my biggest stinker is also the one that has the most tender heart and is the most aware of others' feelings. Wonder what the connection is!

Don't you know that they way to Grandma's house is always short. And... there might be some homemade cookies when you get there.

um, super cute! I've been missing lots of stuff with this busy schedule and not having a computer.

We need to plan some sort of visit soon. Find me a summer job in Portland....
